The Millennium Foundation is a Geneva based non-profit foundation governed by Swiss law and validly registered with the Commercial Registry since the 04.12.2008 under the number CH-660-7719008-3.

The Millennium Foundation is active at the international level and has the primary aim to promote health for the people in developing countries. The Millennium Foundation thereby contributes to reach the three health-related UN Millennium Development Goals, namely (i) to combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis and other diseases, (ii) to reduce child mortality and (iii) to improve maternal health.

The Millennium Foundation is under the supervision of the Swiss Supervisory Board for Foundations and recognised as a foundation of public interest by the Swiss and Geneva tax authorities.

The Millennium Foundation is in no position to guarantee the tax treatment of your gift, such treatment being essentially dependent on the tax practice applied by the fiscal authorities in your State of residence.
